A mother has been left devastated after her 42 stone son died from penile cancer - because he was too fat for life-saving scans. His mother Linda claims his diagnosis was late as he was too big for scansWHAT IS PENIS CANCER? Unfortunately most men tend to ignore potential penile cancer symptoms for some time which leads to a delay in diagnosis. Paul Humphrey, 37, (pictured left in hospital, right as a teenager) died after being diagnosed with penile cancer. But after his diagnosis, Mr Humphrey lost 12 stone while being treated in hospital for cancer on his penis.Linda added: 'Having his whole penis removed was awful for him, as it would be for most men. After being diagnosed with penile cancer, a rare type of cancer that develops on the skin of the penis, Paul Humphrey had to have the organ removed. 'Once it was removed he kept getting infections and eventually that's what killed him.'To donate to Paul's funeral, click here.
