700 Pounds Of Ground Beef Products Recalled Over Ecoli worries

A Pennsylvania Inc. is recalling about 700 pounds of ground beef products that perhaps be contaminated by Ecoli. The recalled ground beef items were produced by Clair D. Thompson & Sons, Inc., that is based in Jersey Shore, Pa. The next products packaged on Sept. 27-28 & Oct. two are subject to the recall |five-pound plastic bags of "Thompson's Ground Beef"ten-pound plastic bags of "Thompson's Ground Beef"The products subject to recall bear foundress number "EST. The crisis was disclosed Oct. two while Clair D. Thompson notified FSIS that the Inc.'s sample of ground beef had tested positive for Ecoli O157 |H7 by a 3rd party laboratory. There have been no approved reports of adverse reactions because of consumption of these products.

Thompson & Sons is recalling about 700 pounds of ground beef. The recall affects five-pound plastic bags of Thompson's ground beef & ten-pound plastic bags of Thompson's ground beef. The bags of ground beef were shipped to institutions in Pennsylvania & N.Y.. The Inc. told the FSIS on Monday which a sample of the ground beef had tested positive for Ecoli with a 3rd party laboratory.
