Fatal deer illness spreads outside northeast Iowa

An adult doe in southeast Wayne province which was harvested during the premier shotgun deer season tested positive by chronic wasting illness (CWD). The deer is the premier hunter-harvested wild deer to Analysis positive outside of northeast Iowa.
