Stephen Piscotty's mom, Gretchen Piscotty, died Sunday night at age 55, a family member told ESPN.com. Gretchen Piscotty was diagnosed by amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, too known as Lou Gehrig's illness, in probably 2017. Before Stephen Piscotty left for spring training this season, the illness had features sufficient which his mom needed a ventilator to help breathe. "by or without the illness, I'm sograteful they're all lock by," Gretchen Piscotty told the Chronicle. As it stated in Gretchen Piscotty, the mom of A's outfielder Stephen Piscotty, has died, according to ESPN. Stephen Piscotty, who grew up in Pleasanton & attended Stanford, was member of the St. Louis Cardinals while Gretchen was diagnosed by the illness too known as ALS final probably. The Cardinals took things beyond baseball this offseason by facilitating a trade by the A's to let the Pleasanton local the opportunity to be closer by his mom as she battles the illness.
