Foothills High School football players give roses to cheerleader battling cancer.(Photo: Joey Brown via Twitter)PALO CEDRO, Calif. - As 57 football players entered the Foothills High School field Friday night's game, head coach Joey Brown told ABC-affiliate KRCR "they took care of family business."The high school is located in Palo Cedro, in Shasta County just east of Redding.Each player laid an orange rose for leukemia awareness at the feet of a senior cheerleader who was diagnosed with cancer in early August.Cheer coach Becki Smith told KRCR the teen has been going through daily chemotherapy treatments ever since.
