High levels of E.coli bacteria were found in four creeks around the region by the Chesapeake Bay Foundation and their volunteers.The foundation started a pilot program after Memorial Day testing the water at Gilly's Creek, Jordan's Branch, Robius landing and Beaver Dam Creekthroughout the summer.Three of the four locations were found to have exceptionally high E.coli levels in the water system.
