Lake George beaches closed for fifth straight dayLAKE GEORGE -- Million Dollar Beach and Dog Beach in Lake George remain closed.The Department of Environmental Conservation closed the beaches on Tuesday after tests on water samples came back positive for high levels of a fecal bacteria.The DEC sent CBS 6 a statement on Saturday which said in part "Sampling results that came back showed decreased levels of coliform bacteria; however samples for E. coli are above or well above the Department of Health State Sanitary Code threshold pf 235 per 100 ml."
