CREDIT: Corps of EngineersHEBER SPRINGS, Ark.(KTHV) -- The Corps of Engineers and the Greers Ferry Project Office have closed the swim beach in Dam Site Park on Greers Ferry Lake until further notice.The beach is located on the right side of the causeway heading to "Trouble Island" in Dam Site Park.

The Onondaga County Health Department has just announced that the Joseph F. William Memorial Park Beach in Cicero has reopened for swimming.The beach was closed Wednesday due to high bacteria levels of E. coli in the water.Lisa Letteney, Onondaga County's Director of Environmental Health, said in a news release that water quality test results received today now show acceptable levels.
