Tributes pour in for Architects guitarist Tom Searle after his sad death age 28 following cancer battleBandmates and fans have been paying tribute to Architects guitarist and songwriter Tom Searle, following his tragic death.Tom's twin brother Dan, drummer for the metal group, broke the news this morning and confirmed that the 28-year-old had passed away after a three year battle with cancer in a post on the band's official Facebook page this morning.He wrote: "It is with unbelievable pain and sadness that I have to announce that at around twelve minutes past midnight on August 20th my amazing brother, Tom, passed away after over 3 years living with cancer."Twitter/DanSearle Dan shared this poignant image of his brotherTom was first treated for the disease in 2013 and had believed to be cancer free, but Dan confirmed in the message that this was sadly not the case: "Many of you will be aware that Tom has been absent from various shows over the past 15 months and I can now let you know that this was due to various surgeries that he had to have to treat the cancer."
