(WATE) – A medical outbreak caused Florida State University to cancel many student activities Tuesday.Hand, foot and mouth disease commonly occurs in young children,however, it is being seen in college students at the university.FSU's Health and Wellness Center Director Lesley Sacher stated, "We are aware of more than a dozen cases so far."The Center for Disease Control and Prevention says symptoms include loss of appetite and dehydration.
