Cheese maker linked to E.coli outbreak drops legal fight (From Evening Times)THE owner of a cheese firm linked to a deadly outbreak of E.coli has pledged to continue fighting to get his products back on the shelves after he dropped a legal battle against the government's food agency.Humphrey Errington, founder of Errington Cheese, said that he was no longer seeking a judicial review of Food Standards Scotland's (FSS) decision to impose a blanket ban on all his products after finding strains of the bacteria in batches of Dunsyre Blue and Lanark Blue.The move comes after he was offered face-to-face talks with the watchdog, who have agreed to pay his legal costs.
