Fewer overweight or obese adults are trying to lose weight, according to a study published Tuesday in the Journal of the American Medical Association. Lead study author Dr. Jian Zhang, an associate professor at GSU, acknowledged that it's "really challenging" to drop those pounds, and also easy to give up.
