Four of the hospitalized patients have developed hemolytic uremic syndrome, a type of kidney failure. Healthy has issued a voluntary recall of its Original Creamy SoyNut Butter with a freshness date of August 30 or 31, 2018. Healthy brand SoyNut Butter or I.M.

E. coli illnesses linked to soy nut butter increase as recall expands

Healthy SoyNut Butter, I.M. A second child in Washington became seriously ill after eating a soy nut butter product included as part of a nationwide illness outbreak and food recall.
