North State medical community needs better education in Lyme diseaseI have had a frustrating and difficult journey battling Lyme disease and the half-dozen other infections that I got from the same bite.After many years of begging doctors to figure out what was wrong with me, it wasn't until I was bedridden that any of them took me seriously.There seems to be a lack of updated education about this disease, and that is a huge disservice to patients in the North State.Northern California is an endemic area for Lyme.
