An E. coli outbreak at a Northeast Portland school has now sickened seven people, health officials said Wednesday. The county announced the school outbreak last week, saying four people were sick and that two others were being tested. Six of the sick people are children, and one is an adult, according to Multnomah County Health officials. Multnomah County Health officials said Tuesday the cases are part of a nationwide outbreak of E. coli linked to a soy nut butter. She said one of the seven sick people has been hospitalized.
