2 Oregon children infected with E. coli in soy nut butter outbreak
Two children in Oregon have been infected with E. coli in an outbreak linked to a soy nut butter. Oregon epidemiologists investigating the case here recovered the soy nut butter from the family's home. He's concerned that other soy nut butters under other labels could be on the marketplace and potentially contaminated. Besides Oregon, health officials have identified four cases in both California and Arizona, and one each in Maryland, Missouri, New Jersey, Virginia, Washington state and Wisconsin. The CDC said that 15 of the 16 people reported they had either eaten the nut butter at home, been at a facility that served it or attended a day care where both products were served.collected by :Lucy William
