Beaches at Dexter and North Wood County parks are closed due to high amounts of E. coli (Photo: Getty Images/iStockphoto)PITTSVILLE – Two beaches are closed due to high amounts of E. coli bacteria.Health officials found an E. coli count of 5,300 at Dexter Park, 8200 Wisconsin 54 in Dexter and a count of 1,300 at North Wood County Park, 7500 Park Lane in Arpin.Any beach with a count over 1,000 will remain closed until the E. coli counts return to safe levels.
